2AP 2-Antiplasmin2-Antiplasmin (2AP), also known as 2Plasmin Inhibitor, is a plasma glycoprotein that is a member of the SERPIN family of proteinase inhibitors. 2AP is the primary fast-acting inhibitor of plasmin in vivo, but has also been reported to inhibit other enzymes such as trypsin, elastase, and Activated Protein C. 2AP is purified from normal human plasma using immunoaffinity and ion-exchange chromatography.
