Immobilized Anhydrotrypsin

Immobilized anhydrotrypsin selectively adsorbs peptides with Arg, Lys orAECys S-aminoethyl cysteine residues at the C-terminus under weakacidic conditions 1. Strongly acidic conditions are used to elute thebound peptides. Peptides with these amino acids at the N-terminus orinternally, as well as free amino acids are not bound. Serine proteaseinhibitors such as ecotin and PAI-1 may also be purified on this resin2. May be used repeatedly.
