Bovine Protein C

BPC 1003 Bovine Protein CPurified from fresh citrated bovine plasma using a combination of salt precipitations and column chromatography. Protein purity is determined by SDS-PAGE and shows total reduction upon incubation with 2-mercaptoethanol. Protein C is activated to the serine protease, Activated Protein C (APC), by -thrombin or the complex of -thrombin/thrombomodulin.
