Aggregates around the germinal vesicles (GV) at the immature GV stage oocytes (By similarity) Tissue Specificity: Isoform 1 is ubiquitous. Isoform 2 is sperm- specific and is enriched in pachytene spermatocytes but is not detected in round spermatids.
